Goddess Guri - Dance in Yoga
Hindu Goddess of Plenty
Origin: hindu

This meditation is in honour of the goddess in us all, I was watching Liz my sister conducting a Yoga morning at her 'Barn' in Sussex and felt it would be lovely to create a yoga theme to do the moves too .

This lovely classical piece with Indian vibes lends itself to your Yoga moves in dance, slow and medative; immerse yourself as you work on your body.

Instrumental. No vocals. Using traditional Indian instruments from sitars to tabla dhol drums and harmonium flutes this lovely classical piece has a definite Indian vibe. Slow and meditative imagine gently closing your eyes and intuitively paint a picture of ancient temples, Avatars and Deities. The mystical delights of this piece is reminiscent of the great Yogis and is aptly named Dance in Yoga as it doubles up as music for Yoga and meditation. Hindus for instance believe that Brahman (the creator) is present in every person as the eternal spirit or soul, called the atman. Brahman contains everything: creation and destruction, male and female, good and evil, movement and stillness.
